Yikes !!! Plus my favorite movies.

I was thinking back to my last post. I have not entered anything since Aug. A month after that posting I stopped drinking. That is going very well. I am pleased.

Now, on to the movies. I keep this up to date daily. These are my favorites with xxxx or xxxxx for each:
The Adventures of Robin Hood; AI; All About Eve; Angel Heart; Apocalypse Now; Armagheddon; Arthur; Beautiful Joe; The Big Sleep; The Birds, though I don't usually like such scary films; Blade. I REALLY like good stories about vampires; Bladerunner; Bound for Glory, about one of our most influential folk singers, Woodie Guthrie; Braveheart; Breaker Morant; A Bronx Tale, with Robert DeNiro; Brother Sun, Sister Moon; Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid; Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, which was a play first but the movie with Paul Newman was simply excellent; The Caveman's Valentine by one of our finest black actors, Samuel Jackson; Chelsea Walls; Chocolat, one of my top 9 films. I rated it xxxx-xxxxx; Citizen Kane; The Color of Money and The Hustler, the first in the pair of films; The Crow; Dances With Wolves, a lavishly produced film with Kevin Costner; The Deer Hunter, a disturbing but excellent film; Desparate Hours; Dirty Dancing, a fine film indeed; several of the Dirty Harry movies; Doctor Zhivago, an xxxxx film. I read the book too by Boris Pasternak; Down in the Delta; Dune, xxxxx, one of my top 4 films of all times; Easy Rider, early hippie film; E. T. , a wonderful film; Fearless; Field of Dreams; Fight Club; For the Love of the Game; The Four Feathers; Frankenstein, the Boris Karlof 1931 version; The French Connection with Gene Hackman; All of the Godfather films; Goodbye Mr. Chips; Good Will Hunting, an excellent flick with Matt Damon and Robin Williams; The Greatest Show on Earth; Heartbreakers; Hell is for Heros; High Noon; Humoresque; The Incident; Indiana Jones, I love adventure shows; In the Heat of the Night; The Insider; It Happened One Night; Its a Wonderful Life; Jaws; Laura; Lolita; Lord of the Rings series; Lost Horizon; MASH; Mirage; Oh Brother, Where Art Thou; One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
