Its not easy saying your favorite things to ingest are all troubling: butter, tequila, Southern Comfort, Drambuie, most nuts, most nut butters, sour cream and taters, sour cream and chocolate powder, sour cream, Breyer's Vanilla, potato chips, popcorn, the crispy corn curls, creme de cassis, cream, clean pj and maybe clean ? with the right, you know. Just read between the lines.
Then there is chocolate. Pies of all sorts of course. A. B. Toklas brownies. Carrot cakes. Other cakes and I bet you NEVER heard of psyllium chocolate cake and if you have I will exchange recipes and maybe we should meet. Lets make it soon at Jackson Square near smiling Andy on a horse.
Next we move on to most breads, many pastries like elephant ears, raised donuts, many cheeses, a fine hamburger and wouldn't you really like a fillet mignon hamburger too?
Lobster served with a good melted butter in Maine. Alaska king crab legs in Alaska. Thin fried catfish and crayfish etouffee in Louisiana plus a tour of Louisiana's best other treats like: summa dem' po boy sammiches from New Orleans with Dixie Beer on a hot afternoon. Chile, yaint had dis, yaint had a sammich. Seriously. Go visit.
Kahlua soufflé. Hawaiian Delight ice cream from Dallas.
I want there to be more items in my list of foods. A week at elBulli for instance would get me started. A week of traveling with Anthony Bourdain, a week with Andrew Zimmern. Whole weeks each dining at restaurants run by Flay, Chiarello, Emeril, Batali, Thomas Keller, the Do Wa in NYC.
